Application Process
Where to Begin and What to Expect
We are now WAITLISTING applications for the 2024-25 school year that begins Monday, August 12th, 2024.
Our summer camps are mostly full, except for some weeks/days mixed throughout. Please reach out via email with questions about summer camp availability (admin@foothillsforestschool.org)

1. Fill out and submit our online application form (found under "Parent Resources")
Once you make it to the top of the waitlist...
You will receive an email with information an upcoming Parent Info Night/Family Interview events (described below). We will also send the documents required to enroll (emergency card, liability waiver, enrollment agreement, etc).
Your application will be reviewed and we will reach out with any questions.
2. Come to a Parent Info Night, an introductory parent/caregiver-only discussion. Please email admin@foothillsforestschool.org to find out the best time/day for this.
If you miss the Parent Info Night, please set up a free 30 minute Foothills Forest School Information Call with Rebecca by emailing admin@foothillsforestschool.org.
3. Come to a Family Interview session. This is a one-hour trial session, where the whole family is invited to come and check out our program. The goal is to experience and observe the style and philosophy of our program in action. It could potentially be a time for you to meet other forest school families and for all to see if FFS is the right fit for you.
If you have missed the Parent Info Nights and the Family Interview Days please do call anyway. We can schedule similar meetings in lieu.
4. After the family interview, if you wish to enroll, email admin@foothillsforestschool.org with an official "Request for Enrollment."
At that point, we will reach out within a few business days to confirm enrollment. Tuition will be determined based on your chosen schedule.
In order to officially register, fees, first month's tuition, and ALL signed paperwork need to be submitted. Families enrolled annually (vs seasonally) pay monthly tuition. Seasonal families pay up front for the 2-month seasonal session.
